About Yuteka Trripati Dance

Yuteka Trripati has been trained at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Singapore, majoring in choreography. She completed her Diploma in Dance from Attakallari centre of Performing Arts, Bengaluru, India. Having Ballet, Modern dance, as well as Bharatanatyam as her base training, her works are based on exploring the various possibilities that lie within these dance forms. She also practices Contact improvisation and has been working on using contact techniques in her works.

Studio

At their studio, they also offer other dance and fitness forms, with the best trainers in town- Belly dance, Hip Hop, Zumba and Yoga. 
It is a spacious studio, with washroom, shower, changing room and drinking water available. 

Contemporary dance is about finding who you are and expressing it through your own bodily vocabulary. In this class, students go through a series of technique combinations, that provide them with a good technical base with increased strength and flexibility, giving them a better understanding of their own bodies, and helping them move easily through space. Towards the end of class, they work on a choreography and build on to it. Few sessions every month, are based on individual and group improvisations, where the students learn to create and use their personal experiences and imaginations and convert them to this beautiful art of dance. 
Being a part of this learning and sharing experience, you can expect to not only improve your physical abilities to move freely in space, but also to develop your spontaeinity and creativity. This journey helps you to understand how your body moves and reacts to different situations and spaces in different times. As you get comfortable with the technique in your body, you will be able to express with movement, and explore various ways to do so.

I'm new to Pune and I've been dancing since past 15 years, I had no clue where to find a good class in Pune, and I tried some places but when I took a trial session with yuteka ma'am, it clicked me 'this is it ', I joined immediately without any second thought in my mind & heart and now I am growing everyday everyclass. It is my happy place 🌸. The technique and style is so phenomenal, I love her classes 💙

Yuteka Trripathi is a phenomenal dancer and facilitator! I learned contemporary from her as a beginner and from the first class I knew that I would like to keep learning from her and attending her classes! I love how she blends the basic techniques into her dance routines to create brilliant and beautiful dance choreographies! I also love that her class has so much more to offer than just dance! Her warm up and warm down practices are equally creative and prepares the body for the dance routines to avoid unnecessary muscle pain due to lack of stretching. She also conducts improvisation sessions where students are free explore and integrate the blend of movement, music, and their body to create magic on the dance floor. It is an experiential session that I would highly recommend for newbies to attend! From the dance studio to the Yuteka as a dance teacher, everything deserves a 5/5!!

I’ve been practising contemporary dance at Yuteka Trrripati dance for a couple of years now. Yuteka has a wonderful way of facilitating the dance form to you. You will be surprised at your body’s potential dancing with her. Definitely a must try for avid dancers or anyone for that matter. Amazing class. Good vibes. Wonderful teacher. Spacious workout space. Very cordial. Try it to know it!

I would say probably the best dance school around Viman Nagar for contemporary dance form. Yuteka ma'am has always got a good fun vibe all the time. She treats all the students in a very friendly manner and provides proper attention and guidance to everyone of them. From the very first day she made it so simple and easy for me to get the moves and stance. The improvisation sessions are the best which happens at the end of the daily sessions. Such a beautiful experience so far, now learning dance seems very easy. Also my fellow students are so helpful and supportive that they also allow you to learn each and every aspect of a particular move/stance. Surely going to continue the classes for long. Would like to take this opportunity to thank Yuteka ma'am for being patient and allowing me to take my own time to learn.
